Sony Plan To Go Big With 3D Tech

You may have heard about Sony planning on releasing 3D T.V's in the near future, but the company are also planning to incorporate the technology in their Viao laptops, Blu-Ray disc's and Playstation 3's.

Sony plan to us a technology called "active shutter". The user puts on the so called 3D Specs (different from those found in the cinemas), which contain tiny shutters that open and close to create the effect.

Whether the technology will catch on remains to be seen, but over the next few years Sony will be trying there hardest to make it work.
