Rumoured Firmware 3.0 Update

Another rumour for Sony to deal with this time it's about there next firmware update, 3.0.

According to VG247 firmware 3.0 will be a major update addressing many issues and giving the PS3 what the users want. So far the following have been put into discussion.

• The introduction of a PSN user reputation system.

• A grief reporting system allowing users to send annotated screenshots of offensive players to Sony.

• Game patches will be able to download in the background.

• HDMI audio and digital optical output will be usable at the same time.

   

I can't comment on these rumours however Sony have talked to IGN and have said the following:
