PSP Trophies Have Been Given The Thumbs Down

Well I though Sony was making a fresh start with the PSP but they seem to be leaving something out. Trophies will not be making the way to the PSP due to a possible security threat. 

“You’re not going to see Trophies on the PSP, few reasons for this, namely keeping it secure”. (These words coming from Sony’s Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network Operations) Over the years the PSP has been cracked and hacking into the trophy system would make pointless.

It’s a shame but I hope in the future the PSP Go, if secure enough, will offer trophies. They would just add a bit more of a challenge to the games.
