PSP Application Store Confirmed

Head of SCEE’s developer relations, Zeno Colaco, has confirmed some exciting news. There will be a section in the PS Store that mainly focuses on small games and applications. The PSP Go obviously trying to compete with Apples App Store.

Colaco had the following to say: "We're introducing new initiatives for the PSP which take it beyond traditional gaming, but still includes elements from gaming, and also includes new developers," said Colaço, confirming Sony has over 50 studios already working on games and apps for the new initiative." Games could be up to 20mb's in size, he went on to say.
