I feel that MS really probably will have a larger amount of systems sold in total because they already have a like 9 or 8 mil advantage, but i feel that as both consoles grow there is certainly room for the ps3 to over take in sales per year or month, i mean there is never going to be a point where the 2 are absolutely dominating each other, there will be low and high points for both.
Microsoft Say They Will Out Sell Sony For The Entire Generation
2009-10-17 22:02In a recent interview, Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for Microsoft’s Xbox 360, didn’t seem worried at all when talking about the PS3’s sales figures.
In an interview to Game Informer, he said the following, in a somewhat relaxed tone:
“What I can tell you is we remain confident that Xbox 360 will not only outsell PS3 for the full calendar year, but for this entire generation,” Greenberg said. “It is similar to a game of baseball, it is not about just winning one inning, but instead being able to win the game by consistently delivering across all nine innings.”
The war rages on, and the giants of the industry, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo battle on. All the consoles are now at lower costs, is Microsoft just getting cocky?

M$ has always been cocky and considering the lineup on games releasing, they should be worried. Then again their solution to this is milking every penny they can from their consumers so i guess they won't be hit too hard by anything
