Black Friday Console Sales Are In

The black Friday sales have been revealed by Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.

Let’s get down to the figures.

The PS3 sold 444,000 units in total, a huge increase compared to the 130,000 sold the previous year. It looks like Sony’s hard work is now paying off.

Down a bit from last year, the Nintendo Wii sold 555,000 units compared to the massive 800,000 sold last year. But ahead of that comes the DS selling 1,000,000+ units, another increase from 780,000 sold last year.

And finally, Microsoft.  The company have not yet reported sales figures for Black Friday however they have stated that they were double compared to the previous week.

I wonder how many 360s Microsoft sold. Hmm...we'll have to wait and see. On another note, it’s great news for Sony. It appears the Slim was just what everyone wanted.
