Amazon Limit The PS3 Slim In The States

2009-08-21 01:10

The PS3 Slim has proven so popular on Amazon in the states that the site is limiting PS3 Slim sales. Only one console is allowed per house hold. People won’t be putting videos on YouTube of them having three PS3’s, or more.

Amazon must be worried about stock for the console, the question comes down to Sony, did they produce enough stock?  However with the release of a new console, or something along the same popularity, stock is normally limited just in case.

Amazon did release a statement:

“In an effort to provide as many customers as possible with the opportunity to purchase the PlayStation 3 120GB, we are limiting the total number of PlayStation 3 120GB units that can be purchased. As a result, each household may only purchase one PlayStation 3 120GB unit.”

Let’s hope we don’t get limited in the U.K, or any were else in Europe.
